About Ana
Ana Borges moved to the Triangle area of North Carolina from her hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1988, and has since called Chapel Hill her home. She has a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Santa Ursula University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a master’s degree in Architecture from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
Her style combines contemporary and earthy, natural elements. Ana designs spaces focused on beauty and efficiency. She brings her clients into her projects very early on and cultivates that relationship throughout the entire design and remodeling process.
“Each project blooms based on the conversations I have with my clients. As an architect, I make a point of understanding my clients’ priorities and letting that guide the work. I also empower clients to make informed decisions, like material choices, according to their preferences and tastes, while advising and supporting them”.
Ana is family-oriented, has a husband, two children and two dogs. She also enjoys cooking on the weekends, caring for her plants, and soaking up the sun in the summertime.
